Aladdin is excited to further its commitment to global responsibility with The Nature Conservancy.

Aladdin and The Nature Conservancy share values of social responsibility and environmental stewardship, and our commitment to working together to inspire consumers and advance sustainability is truly empowering for people and the planet.

The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy is dedicated to sustaining and enhancing a healthy relationship between people and nature. As the world’s largest global conservation organization, they are uniquely positioned to deliver innovative solutions to our most pressing conservation needs and leverage them at a meaningful scale, assuring quality of life for people and nature in our world. Their vision is of thriving nature and thriving communities - a shared future that enables each of us to prosper at the same time we work to protect and conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.

Focusing Positive Impacts

The Nature Conservancy’s work around the world is focused on five priorities: Oceans, Land, Water, Cities and Climate. Their innovative thinking and science-based approaches to resolving the most urgent conservation needs allow them to have a positive impact around the world. Their deep experience and powerful connections with communities, tribes, government, businesses and individuals have allowed them to work successfully with our partners since 1951.

The Emerald Edge

For 2017, our partnership will be focused on the Emerald Edge. It is the largest intact coastal rainforest remaining in the world. It is a 100-million-acre band of living forest and ocean stretching northward from the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State, through Canada’s coastal British Columbia and the Great Bear Rainforest, to the panhandle of remote southeast Alaska. Its intactness is rare and precious, providing habitat for wildlife like bears and whales that can only survive in massive, continuous landscapes. The Nature Conservancy is working with local partners to conserve the Emerald Edge, a treasure unlike anything else in the world.
